33000 seems like alot. Im not complaining about it and I dont want the devs to lower it but I want to know how anyone already has 33000 General Crafting XP? It took me a few days to get 6k for eng. 4

I am crafting mostly Mine exlposive kits (i think) they are about 40 xp each time and It will take me months upon months to get 33k. I just want to know if I am missing out on something. Is there something you craft that gives you alot of XP? If so what. If there isnt I give it up to ppl who are already architect who must have spent 20+ hours a day just crafting.

I started at 1PM today and by 8PM I have gotten 33k xp. It's not hard, you just need to do the right things... of which I cannot tell, because that's the secret of business. You really have to figure something out that works effectively yourself. Good day.

Here is a few hints...

1) Mulit-task.. while surveying for minerals or just running around, be crafting things.

2) Use keyboard to confirm selections and not mouse. You spend a lot of time moving the mouse around clicking things.

3) You get crafting xp for things that are used by players including yourself that you craft...i.e. everytime you use a Weapon Crafting tool you get a few extra points xp. Trying to get to 33k every little bit helps.

4) If all you can set up your tool bar with 3 crafting tools. Use the keyboard to select between the 3. If you work fast enough you can use all 3 efficently.

5) Grind Like Hell. It takes a lot of crafting to get that high. It should take you no more than a week to get to novice playing a few hours a night.

I gcxp'd 33k in about 2 hrs day 1 + 4 hours day 2, so that meets the criteria. As far as being secret it's no big deal really. First and most important make sure you have all the resources ready and waiting. This means 4 or 5 harvs running about 48 hours before the big grind. Run them into the ground don't worry about maintenance. I made crafting tools which require 16 metal + 8 mineral + 10 chem. I just used aluminum and fiberplast, both abundant in my area. This will give you between 65 and 69 xp each and take about 21 secs to produce. So making these you will have to make about 500 units. Yes that's alot! But you want that Architect BAD now don't you? I did. And once you get in that zombie grind loop the time will pass quicker than you think. Pull up your skills screen keep it in the background and take it 1k xp at a time. You will be tempted by the armorsmith invite, then the weaponsmith invite, then the droid invite, but stickby your guns! It is worth it.

Now, that said, once you get Arch you're in for a SHOCK. The amount of materials you use making various Archy things will increase 10 fold. My first house emptied my warehouse clean. But at the same time you will get massive xp for your efforts. I'm almost halfway to the first box after building just two houses. So I'm not yet sure if it will end up being a blessing or a curse. But in my mind Arch is the best specialty in the game because it takes a special breed to absuse themselves like this.

Good luck, and come back here if you need any moral support...

nothing like the psado masachists. Actually, paying to be able to hurt yourself is amusing to think about too.

Hmmm. I have been making bone armor and that seems to work pretty good. I give it to noobs for free and rake in xp that way to.

Most things give 2xp per resource used. One exception is weapon powerups, which give 4xp per resource used.

1033 Brand New Wood Staffs. Yep, they require 16 wood and give 32xp. I took me two days of blood shot grinding. But, I made nov. arch. yesterday. Is this the best way? I don't know. I do know there is a place inside a town where you can harvest wood at 85%. Since that is the only resource needed, you can sit on top of it with /sample running while grinding out 1000+ staffs. I hate staffs now. The good news? I'm only 875 staffs away from being a nov. droid engineer as well!!!!

Sweet. Staffs. I'm already into Architect, but I might go Droid Engineer or something to make some money off of and spend the rest of my time since I'll build my 2 houses a night in no time, and then I'm out of ore. And a note: I failed my first small house yesterday. On good equipment, but I think I put crappy ore in the finaly combine accidently. First in about 8ish houses.
