Do any of the chest hold things like a back pack does? Just looking to reduce the clutter in my house and am tired of seeing backpacks floating in air.

Thanks

Unfortunately no

What you can do to reduce the "backpacks in the air" thing, is to place them in a part of the house that does not have the heaviest traffic, and then turn them to face the wall, and use "/move forward 1" untill you get the out of range message, that will put it right up against the wall so that it looks like it is hanging on the wall, instead of in the air.

Also, Travel Packs, and Bounty Hunter Packs look best as in house storage as opposed to the others.

Thank you for your reply.

The fact that all this great furniture doesn't do anything but look good is a bit of a diapoinment. Any idea if this is in the works to be fixed?

Also, I've seen some items turned at less than a 45 degree angle, how is this achieved? Everytime I go to rotate something it turns at 45.

Cabinets, Armories, and Chests are supposed to be able to hold items. When they fix them so they do is a different story.

As for rotation, you can use slash commands to move and turn things with a bit more accuracy. Here is a list of the furnature manipulation commands:

Slash Commands:

/move <forward/back> <#> (Default is 10)

/rotate <left/right> <degrees> (Default is 90)

No, except the crafting stations.

Satchels work good as well. They're really small and sit on the floor. I don't remember how much they actually hold. 20 items I think. Small and out of the way.

What you could do insdead of having backpacks floating all over the place you could try this. Go to one part of the room and drop them all in the same place so it looks like there's just one of them. Then, where the "1" bag is floating you could put an armoire there. They're deep peices of furniture that would easily conceal all the bags.

Unlocked containers (that is, locked containers you loot from NPCs and get opened successfully by smugglers) can also be used for storage. But of course, they're kinda big and bulky.

And ugly as sin ... but they do work good in crafters shops.
