Why can't i place my small Nabooian House on any other planet BUT Naboo?

Because they said so

but i wanna put my house on corellia ::stomps feet, arms sway erraticly::

I think a lot of us on Corellia would like to be able to construct styles other than our beloved cinder blocks. Corellia style? Generic? It doesn't matter. It all feels like living in a wall of cages in a pet store.

From a technical perspective, I can understand the desire to limit the objects and textures on a planet for performance reasons. From an aesthetic perspective, I can understand the desire to have similar buildings on a planet to 'fit' together nicely in the scenery (though you are allowed to build generics interspersed with homes on Naboo and Tatooine?) From a logical perspective, we can travel faster than the speed of light and build a space station that can move around and destroy planets, but move a couple of tons of metal and rock to another planet?! "We'll put our scientists to work on it, but don't hold your breath."

Serious!...

I mean i wouldn't mind the generic building if it came with a veranda like the large building on Naboo.

I took a screenshot of it... it's beautiful! (the scene from up top) - PLUS it has a basement.

I don't know - i mean we already have to build WAY outside city limits to be able to have houses or other structures.

what are u saying? That if your an architect from corellia u cant build homes in naboo? Or just certain styles?

only certain styles can be placed on certain planets, (naboo on naboo - corellian on corellia) but the generic houses can be put anywhere you want.

Problem is the generic ones look so cookie-cut - it's insane. Corellian homes are not much different, but at least they look a little better, and the floor plan is a little more bearable.

the Naboo houses are absolutely luxurious. I love them! BUT i HAVE to place is on Naboo for me to own one.

Guess I'll be moving soon... grrrrr

Oh i didnt know all that until this post. Me.. im going to be a novice architect soon and cant wait till i can build something like that. I can totally relate to what your saying though because i was in naboo and seen a house there and wow. Yes it looked very luxurious. It was beautiful. However the rooms in corellia look like solitary confinment, lol.
