Im new to crafting and havent decided on a profession yet. I was wondering what experimentation is used for during architecture. Does it affect how much a resource collector can harvest or how well a factory generates items. Thanks for any response in advance.

I concur, it is totally worthless.
Experimentation on subcomponents seems to do absolutely nothing in regards to the final combine.
The final combine is when you need to use your absolute best UT materials to prevent failures.
But actually, if i remember correctly from beta, the construction tree, also raises the complexity of items making it harder to succeed. but you get the experimentation to raise the durability back up if you want it.
Ive tested a bunch of poorly made structure bods, and good sctucture mods and it came down to , a structure mod is a structure mod any day of the week.
