As I've been dealing with a lot of houses and furniture, I've decided to post the list of issues I've found with all of them. These issues were actually stated to me by customers and so I recorded them for each issue presented to me.

Issues with Furniture and Houses

  • Small Items (lamps, etc.) can't be placed atop furniture.

  • Lamps do not light houses.

  • Torches have too much smoke and could be trimmed down quite a bit.

  • Plants/Trees and other small items cannot be placed on balconies and porches.

  • When rotating items, items should rotate from the center of the item - not the end. (crafting stations come to mind)

  • When moving items via /move command, items revert back to the original drop state and make it difficult to set.

  • No Statues in the furniture tree.

  • No Artwork in the furniture tree.

  • No Desks in the furniture tree.

  • Not able to place some items on walls.

  • No lockable or unlockable storage units (chest, armoire, cabinet, toolchest)

  • Same items (chest, armoire, cabinet, toolchest) cannot store items.

  • Not enough flora and fauna items.

  • No color schemes available for funiture coloring.

  • Couches (even the large ones) when sat in, force you to the center of the couch. Everyone can sit on top of you and stack bodies.

  • Large Beds are NOT large. They are made for midgets or small children. (I get too many laughs on this one)

  • Some chairs are undersized. No true high-back chairs.

  • Houses admins can't drop items.

  • Vendor admins can't access vendors sale/retrieval/storeroom list.

If you see any that I might have missed, please feel free to add to these.

House limits are set to 120 - they should be set to something similar:

  • Small - 120 items

  • Medium - 240 items

  • Large - 360 items

  • P.A. - 400 items

Yes, I second all these. Especially the flora items having only one huge potted plant to choose from is just wrong.

I would add-

Floor rugs.

Add the camera zooming way in and freaking out when you sit in a high backed chair.. it should stay behind the chair

Personally I would like collision on furniture.. stupid to walk through a coffee table to get to a couch

Dont forget admin rights and drop rights in a house.. houses of all sizes are bachelor pads.. cant share with a friend or significatn other.. or PA for that matter..

Crafting stations with all the components bugged..

doors not opening (graphically) when other players use them.. no sounds either.. sit at your crafting station and never notice that 4 people walked in.. didnt hear the door open.. and watching them walk through walls is dumb too

house placement does not find the highest spot in the terrain resulting in covered doors, covered patios, et

house signs are like 20 feet away from the house.. on some houses (sm gen style1, med gen style2)

NPCs can enter your house if the door is partially obscured by terrain.. the CSR reply to this issue was to move.. LOL

I will think of more.. hehe

Out of your entire post, not one of these issues are directly related to architech game mechanics.

Half are wish list items, and the other half are issues but not related to the architech it self. these are mostly general game mechanic issues.
