I had this idea while I was reading a different post. I have seen some large houses that are pretty spacious, and have several different rooms with connecting hallways and a large open foyer. It's the only one I've seen that had a window inside (up and to the right as you come in the front door). I was thinking, I could build a structure like that and have vendors for each of a local weaponsmith, armorsmith, tailor, etc. in each of the rooms creating like a shopping mall sort of thing. What does eveyone think? Is this even possible?

Yes, it is possibly, but the house owner has to be a Merchant for it to be effective. I've seen a few around and my PA has one - it's only a Medium house though (due to the 200 item limit)...

We have a Mall going in our lil town, itsnear Kadaara , Naboo, Lowca. we have several different vendors in it each person OWNS thier own vendor, this is accomplished with a decent amount of trust. In fact only our PA members have vendors there. The key to this is that only the owner can place a vendor, so what you do is /transferstructure (playername) and let them drop the vendor. they transfer it back and poof instamall. hope this helps out. be very careful who you transfer the structure to, there is potentially alot to be lost to griefers in this "workaround".

on kauri we also have a shopping mall using /transfer structure.

Same here, my PA has one as well on Lowca's Tatooine. Since the Admin list is still buggy (only owner can drop items and place vendors), she makes a vendor for each person and gives the money that is gained from any item sold from a certain vendor to the person whose items were in that vendor. A bit complicated, but it works for the time being (until the bugs are fixed).
