Thread: ATTENTION: MONEY TO BE MADE
Or you could, heaven forbid, have fun!
/shockandawe
Since money isn't used for anything besides drugs and entertainers, what's the point in just mining for resources after your first million? Make some buildings, maybe some furniture, keep a store well-stocked, make houses for your friends. Geez, if the grind was supposed to be the fun part...
I'm with you guys. I may not have a million credits, but I always have MORE than I could possibly need. On the flip side, I only craft when I want to, and I really enjoy doing it. I run a business and it's successful.
I think there's entirely too many Architects who seem to think somehow we're supposed to have 8 million credits already, and if we don't we're failures or not going to enjoy anything.
I need as much money as I need. My goals in SWG do not include "being the richest person in all the galaxies," but rather to enjoy myself and have fun. I would say on average I drop about 9000 credits a day on my harvs, and pull in about 30-40K a day on a good day, maybe only 15-20K on a slow one. I can't see how I could possibly complain about that. Every single day I get a little further ahead, and allow myself to have nice armor and weapons and whatever else I'd like.
In addition, I own two homes, one being a showroom with one of everything (just about) that I can make. The value of my inventory and my two homes just adds more to my "bank account" if you will.
If you all want to race to the money, go right ahead, I applaud you. But for me, satisfaction comes from many sources, not just having more money than everyone else.
What kind of super harvesters do you have that are that cheap and pull in soo much?
Sell your ore, dont worry about making your "wares". They are not wanted, appreciated, or sought after. They are dirt cheap and available to anyone and everyone unless your willing to be really, really, REALLY patient and spent uncounted thousands of credits on travel.
When you have enough credits burn through some xp, or use the "practice mode" to save a little and get xp.
When you hit master look into another profession. Well, until the space based expansion comes out, but dont hold your breath for that.. year or so at least.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
