Howdy Folks,

I assume others have experienced this problem. Last night I crafted a structures factory. I had the deed on me, as I ran to check on my vendor, which is located some distance away in another persons house. On the way there I was mugged by maulers. My clone actived in Theed, and when I looked, the deed was gone from my inventory. Can anyone tell me what happens next? I placed a lengthy CS Ticket. Can I expect any help from CS? Will the deed reappear after they reset the server this morning? Am i just screwed? Should I just consider this an undocumented feature of the game, and treat it as a critical failure?

this is likely the same problem with items disappearing when you get them from vendors.

your data is not saved in real time. every few minutes (maybe up to like 10?) it is saved. there is some sort of problem that if you buy an item from a vendor, and walk a certain distance (presumably across a server boundry) then the item disappears. if you notice it quickly, you can walk back and forth across the line and have it come back, go away, come back etc.

if you go back to near where the vendor was and log out..wait like 10 min and log back in. the item will come back.

if the item is back already, and you want it to STAY back, you just have to log out and back in at any speed.

it looks like your warping to the clone center made it go away. not sure if it will come back with the reset or what. I've heard lots of reports of disappeared things coming back after a day or two, so maybe it will.
