Thread: Large couch.
Even after the patch, I still can't target it. Just had one made today...nothing.
Was there some sort of trick? Right now I have a couch I can't position...ugh.

Actually...turns out everyone BUT me can target the couch.

Here is my fix for the not being able to target a couch.
1) Wait. Sometimes this happens to me, and then the next day I can target it again. This was the first solution (besides redeeding...lost a few couches that way) that I came up with.
2) address the object by name. If it's named "Couch" then this works (if you have more than one named "Couch" make sure you're signifigantly closer to one)
/move Couch forward, /rotate Couch right, etc. Works wonders
3) I had many customers say this was faction based (when it obviously isn't) and who were threatening to boycott me. The simple fix? run to their house, have them add you as admin, and move it around for them.Almost 100% of the time, I can target it, even when they can't. And if I can't target it, I just use method 2. This will also work (so you don't have to run around) to explain this to them and have them get a friend to do it for them. (By the way, when did the housing admin thing get fixed? I don't recall reading about it, but I can pick up and drop items in other people's houses if I'm an admin now...)
another quick tip (this is great for the curved couches...if you want to stick them in a corner.
/rotatefurniture right 45
will rotate the furniture 45 degrees...i haven't tried other angles, like 30 or 60. Get some better designs like this. I imagine this would be nice to do if you were in a curved wall env, like a small naboo style 2, or decorating the inside of a med. naboo house.
