Thread: Known Bugs
Known Bugs from my own experience and from posts I've seen on this board:
- Ballot Boxes can't be removed
- Round Couch can't be targetted by some people
- Dropping two identical, factory-made, items onto the exact same spot on the floor of a house causes them to become unretrievable.
- Factory crates sometimes will not allow you to remove items from them. The number decrements, then increments again. This is fixed by logging out or by crossing a server boundary.
- Factory schematics cannot be removed from a factory. To work around this you can put another schematic into the factory and the old one will be placed back into your datapad.
- Factories sometimes eat materials and stop without having made anything. The factory must be redeeded and replaced to work around this problem.
- Dragging objects from a Factory Output hopper directly to its input hopper results in parts that won't work in the next factory run.
- Using up a schematic causes the factory to be in an unusable state. It must be redeeded to be used again.
- Some players have complained that their houses are too bright inside. (Tatooine house?)
- The "Access Schematic" option on factories will not display if you don't have an appropriate schematic in your datapad and there is not one loaded into the factory already. This has confused many people into believing that their factory is bugged.
- At least one player has reported that his +25 Structure Assemble skill tape ended up subracting 25 from his base when he removed his item of clothing. Now he *has* to wear the clothing to craft at his base skill level.

I found another last night:
-If you log out in a house, then log back in after that house as been redeeded/destroyed, then you get teleported to location 0,0 underneath the ground. Logging out then back in again puts at 0,0 above the ground.
Dropping two identical, factory-made, items onto the exact same spot on the floor of a house causes them to become unretrievable.
Use the following command "/move back 1" (maybe /moveback 1 with no space cant remember) I put it on a macro and hit it several times. it moves the item in increments until the radial menu once again allows you to pick up the item.
Factory crates sometimes will not allow you to remove items from them. The number decrements, then increments again. This is fixed by logging out or by crossing a server boundary.
This is not a good workaround. I have 99 structure modules been stuck for over 3 days. I left our PA hall on Talus and ran over 3 km to Dearic and then back again and tried all thelong day and it still wont let me retrieve any of the modules.
Factories sometimes eat materials and stop without having made anything. The factory must be redeeded and replaced to work around this problem.
This workaround also does not work for wall modules which is the reason all schematics that say they require identical wall modules in fact only require similar ones now from a recent patch workaround (I wish they were still identical and the factory worked because it sucks manually making these walls)
Arutak,
I think your problem with the wall modules may be that your Wall Module Schematic was made up with Stuctural Modules with different serial numbers than the ones that you are using in your factory run. I believe that you'll need to do a run of Structural Modules in the factory, then use those to create your Wall Module Schematic and then use the rest to do your Wall Module factory run.
Of course this means that you can only make 9 Wall modules in a factory run if we're supposed to be limited to 100 objects in a factory run. Thankfully you can currently edit this value by hand and create 1000 of a particular type of Structural Module.
I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to work or if it's a bug.
