Architect Archive

There are three specific requests that I have for the devs on possible changes to the Architect - or, more specifically, his houses.

As a non-architect, I and others like me form the base of the Architect's market. Having said that, I'd like to submit the following three requests for consideration and future implementation.

1) More variety in housing. The size classes are fine, but they're pretty limited in variety. More types of each size, on each planet, would be welcome. In addition, although most of the houses are nice, the ability to customize their styling to some extent would be fun.For example, the other day I was admiring thesimplistic coziness of the small Naboo house. I thought, 'that would be really cool if it had a small upstairs room, like a loft or small bedroom.' The ability to add things to your houses, like add-ons, decks, etc might be fun, and add greater variety to the housing system. It would make the houses a more integral part of the game, I think, if they were something of a mini-game within themselves.

2) More variety in furniture. This is probably a forgone conclusion, but more variety is more fun to play with.

3) I don't know if this is doable or not, but it would be very cool if the windows of the houses could be functional - if you look out the window on the east side of your house, you can see approaching friends or the sunrise over the mountains, for example. Functional windows would give the houses a sense of integration into the outside world, as opposed to relative isolation.

Nobody thinks it would be cool to be able to look out your windows? Or to have a house that's a little different from everybody else's?

Sign me up for looking out the windows.... you can look outside if you're on a balcony, why not out windows?

As to housing variety... HECK yeah we need more (Speaking as an architect).

I'm sure the first people with houses were like "Ooooh... Ahhhhh...." But now everybody and their Wookiee have the same houses and... well, it's boring.

Furniture.... Well, more variety would definitely be welcome there, too. =).
