Architects,

We are planning a PA Hall move.

Recently, we put well over 50k into it so we didn't have worry for awhile. Now, When we move does the "buyin" go away and we haveto start all over or is it like the harvesters where the maintenance is always there, no matter if I pick it up and move.

I thank you.

The money stays in the treasury.. you DO know you can withdraw from the house maitenance too? i believe it costs about 7k to move one that willl HAVE to be in your treasury.. but when you replace the PA Hall all the money minus the moving fee will be there like a harvester is...

Also it took about 5 min for the deed to reappear in my friends pack when he pulled up the PA... so be patient...

If you pick up the PA Hall, you can sit it back down and use the same PA name as before, correct? Looking for multiple people to acknowledge this so I can be sure its correct. Don't want to move the PA if we can't get the same name.

Nope, about a month ago, we had to move our PA. When we tried to use the guild temrinal we ended up having to recreate the guild. It wouldn't let us use the same name. We also had to have everybody rejoin the new guild. All the members' tags remain as the old guild. So they will have to leave and rejoin the new guild.

I moved my PA hall two or three times, and never had a problem with my guild terminal going kaput.. but my maint pool has always stayed with it when I moved, too.

Moved my guild hall. took about 1-2 minutes for deed to reappear. After re-placing the PA hall, took between 5-10 minutes for the Guild Terminal to "re-bind" to the guild info, but it did. Don't re-create another guild before this time, or I've heard it will destroy the old one.

Here's a question:

If I start a guild, then /transferstructure to someone else, then place another hall, do both get guild management terms for the same guild? I think I'll make another PA hall tonight just to check.

Thanks Architects, just to let you know:

The 30K plus that was in the treasury stayed there.

The Deed appeared almost immediately.

The PA terminal appeared without issue, and the PA did not have to be recreated.

I thank you all for your guidance.

Our PA would like to move its PA hall (stupid city problems) if we place down a 2nd PA hall, and destroy the first, we should be, a-ok? besides redoing the guild management terminal, nothing bad will happen? no disbanding? anyone have any problems doing this?

You can redeed with no problems so long as a PA Member is the one who places the hall. The only thing you will lose is the Guild Terminal options while the terminal is absent. Your tags and guildchat won't be impacted. If a PA member places the hall, the Guild Terminal will automatically be set to work with your PA.
