Alright what can I say we need them! There is no reason why we cannot make factory crates of walls if you can ake factory crates of grenades that take two seperate crates. I hate making walls manually!!!!!!!!! Anyone else feel the same way, or is it just me.

Actually yes and no. We can make factory crates of walls, yes, but not the way we want to make them. Structure factories lack the ability to take Structrure Modules out of factory crates, forcing us to extract EACH mod out of the crate by hand. Now, max capacity of a structure factory is 100, meaning you can only make 9 walls at a time in a factory, which is one big waste of time. The math: 90 structure modules + metal + ore = 92 max slots we can go. You can't place 100 mods in there cause there is no room for the metals and minerals. I really, really hope they fix this. All they simply need to do is fix that bug that disallowes a structure factory to extract objects from factory crates. Equipemenet factories can take items from crates, so can wearables. So why is it that the largest factory, taking 2 lots of our 10 lots can't even take an item from a crate?! Doesn't this just seem stupid? Not just structure mods but any kind of crated componentin general. I did a test with generator turbines, placed a crate of them into the factory to make a few Manafactureing Mechanisms, it kicked me back a Stop e-mail saying it ran out of the ingredient Generator Turbine when inside i had a crate of 15 in the ingredients hopper. This really needs to get fixed, it is highly annoying and really stupid that the largest factory in the game acts so retarded compared to it's smaller counterparts.

Well it may not be as general as you imply. I just ran off a few batches of harvesters with crates of structure modules, generators and light ore mechs. Ran without a hitch. Never took anything out of a crate... just loaded them from the output inv to the input hopper, changed schematics and started it up.

I can make wall modules in my factory using crated structural modules with no problem. Ever since last patch I think.....have you actually tried????

I just put 5 crates of 100 each structural modules in my factory yesterday, pushed the button, and got 50 wall modules out (in crates of 10). Very very easy. This has been working like this for me (and others) since the last patch.

re-deed your factory if your factory doesn't automaticly pull structural moduals from the crate.

This is Great what a timesaver, now if only they would lower the time for my factory to make items, to at least say...how long it takes them to be done by hand!!! Life would be soo much better.

I wish they'd fix ore mining units as well.
