Thread: Resource selling vs Architect
I have seen the same thing. I have Durralloys sitting around going back 2 years several of which most jedi's would kill for Saber crafting. I refuse to sell resources and continue to make my harvs!
Ok so I set some aside for saber crafting ![]()
Yes, it is very awful that our products are considered having not as much vakue as the ressources that they were built with. We may not use "quality" ressources for a lot of our stuff because it isn't required but we do need a lot of them for quite a few of the things we craft and peeps simply don't want to regognize it. ![]()

I have no such foibles. I sold some extrusive the other day at 24 cpu to an armorsmith that I had been saving for gardens/harvesters.
I guess this would really depend on why you're an architect to begin with. If you enjoy crafting and the process of gathering resources to produce a quality product, then you're probably better off using those resources for crafting. If you're just out to make money and architect is merely a means to an end for you, then you'd be foolish to turn down a higher profit margin by not selling your resources.
I'm still learning the prof, but I mainly got in for the crafting. I suppose if times get tight I'll sell resources, but I'd much rather build something and sell it for the going rate, even if I do cut myself a bit short on the profit.
Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. (apologies to D. Miller)
And it has to be a resource that is in demand.
Me, I like crafting, I collect the resources I need, and make a Harvy. I can collect from a good steel or iron spawn enough to keep me going a long time, no pressure to "get to the uber stuff before others".
As for ore, any and all will do, just lots of it.
Uber resources come and go, but my harvies will always be Max, and my street lights will glow
Just a different view of the game. BTW, I love miners, bless their hearts, they are my best customers
