Ok last question...

Am I better off experimenting 1 point at a time or blowing my whole load at once?

Seems like whenever I add a point that red bar on the right side goes up and the % goes up (is that fail %?).

Does it matter?

When I was just starting out, I experimented one point at a time.

Now that I have Construction IV and 9 experimentation points, I only experiment 3 points at a time...I suppose I could use all of the experimentation points at once, but I like to maintain a reserve in case of a CF...so that at the very least, I can make an item that I can sell to recover the resource cost.

The red bar is your chance to fail...the more points you try and experiment at once, the higher this number climbs...and the greater your chance to CF. Even at 0%, you still have the preprogrammed chance to CF though (

Yeah I've been bugging a lot of various forums recently. This should be the last one, I appreciate all the help. I probably won't be able to test this out myself without regrinding an entire template so...

adv. rapid fire (master carbineer) vs adv. crit shot - which hits better/harder? and

improved underhand shot vs improved charge shot - ditto?

(incidentally I found improved legshot > improved rapid fire, both carbineer, not sure what to make of that)

adv crit shot > adv rapid fire i think

Improved underhand shot < improved charge shot*

*they may be the same, but i seem to knock the targets down more often with charge shot than underhand shot
