Thishas probablyalready been posted, but have y'all seen the fishtank in the Geonosian lab? With the shiny swimming schooling fishies? I just saw it for the first time last night and thought "I'd pay just about anything for a scaled-down version of that for my house!"

I know you've got a lot of other openissues, but if at some point the issue of new furniture types comes up, remind the devs that they've got a lovely fishtank already in the game that a lot of people would probably love to have be player-craftable.

I saw this for the first time last night as well. It was definitely cool. It's obvious the devs have seen player's affinity for fish tanks, and put it into this new content. It's just too bad Acklay owned me a few moments later...but that's another story, for a different time.

Now just imagine if the fishtank schematic took a number of optional "fish" components, and whatever fish you put in (e.g. ones that you or someone else fished for) were the ones that showed up in the fishtank! Or better yet, the fishtank started empty but the owner could add and remove fish at will!

And while they're at it, they could fix the Creature Habitats to look like terrariums instead of like locked containers.

But now I'm off on a pie-in-the-sky tangent again...

fishtanks are really something that I would like ingame. I wish we had glass components that we could acually make, there would be huge potential for interior design if we could make simple 50x50 unit glass pannels. We could make gun display cabinets, fishtanks and so on.

infact I think instead of pushing for complete items to make, maybe we could push for interior design items too. Planks of wood, stylish posts, angle brackets. A city member has made good use for wooden staffs in a house, they are now legs for high table/shelf's, and they do look great. I am helping to design a museum in a city. I am probably going to take time out of making real architect items to launch a house design business, see if I can make some more money as the devs clearly are not helping in giving us renewable income with these new ear wax things that people pay the best part of 50 credits for.

Having individual components is great for flexibility, but it means that you hit the house storage limit that much faster. Most of the buildings that have really cool aquariums, bars, and whatnot don't have space left for very much else.

I have been a master architect since about a month after launch. Stopped making structures about 4-5 months ago - now do ONLY interior design. Great fun, much less repetitive than structure crafting, and I routinely get paid 300k-1.5M credits for designing a large house top-to-bottom. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I am doing the same thing. Not the actual in-house setup, but I often meet with players in their homes or desired decorating area and I usually craft a few pieces on the spot for free. I really enjoy making the custom named fruniture orders. It gives me a peek into the creativity of other players. I can't keep my vendor stocked with general custom named stuff. People are always looking for semi-unique named items like Workbench instead of Cafe Table.
