YOu talk to the curator...and it should have the new painting now....You will probably have to wait 2 weeks before you can vote.

As of yesterday, Flurry still did not have a new painting :/

I'm concertned that there will be no way to know whether the schematic is for a "new" painting based on what I've seen on TC. There have been several "votes" there over the past few weeks, but nobody has seen a different painting.
I think the curator should let you know exactly what the painting is before you buy the schematic and should have it on display. It's allegedly shown somewhere in the museum but I can confirm that this isn't the case on Kauri or TC...

Someone posted in another thread that there is a painting in the front of the museum that reflects what painting is for sale. I haven't been in game yet to check it out though.
And I agree, there needs to be some way in game to let you know what you're buying.

i belive the current painting is shown as you look left of the curators door. curently on scylla its the mon cal eye painting showing which matches the current schematic
