Ouch, this hurts ! I have seen the occaisional dumping of no longer required second hand harvesters on the market, as no doubt we all have, but this really brings home what we may all face in the future, the scale of this is frightening. I can only hope that the numbers involved are too big for anybody to consider, but the fact that these are likely to be broken into smaller lots probably means they will all sell at a substantial discount.

I know everybody has the right to sell of their business and recoup some of there outlay, but what this will do to harvester sales on Bria frankly scares me.

Well, I'm making alot of money selling harvesters to the people that have these massive fields.
Doesn't matter if one sells a houndred harvesters. Or a houndred sells one harvester.

I must agree with you on this one!!Frankly, I am a bit nervous as I just started allowing the architect that I have trapped in my basement to make harvesters.I am also interested to see what this will do to the prices of minerals around the area, as I believe he is a major supplier. I never can mine enough ore and end up buying at way to high a price. Yes, I realize he doesn't set the final price but at least he makes tons of it available to his buyers. I for one, would rather have a BER 10 on your lots instead of mine, but I have enough trouble managing what I do have!!! I guess this is one that time will tell.

I don't know. It could possibly good news.
He wants to sell over 400medium harvesters and their associated lot for 100K each and 500K buyout.
I wouldn't go for that deal or any part of it. In two weeks Bria could be on fire with all those harvesters burning up.

Me neither, but there is already interest being shown, and let's face it, if he doesn't get his price he will drop it until he does since the alternative is to watch it all go up in flames. It seems this guy will continue playing otherwise why bother to sell, I wish this was not the case as I would be more than happy to warm my hands on the resulting bonfire. One thing that gives me a ray of hope, I saw that my ore supplier is interested, maybe he will drop his price if he gets a deal that doubles his capacity...dream on.

He might be quitting and wanting to cash out so he can either give the money to a buddy or hit eBay.

With the hologrinding-inflated resource market crashing, I think he's seen the writing on the walls.
Myself? I bailed out of mining two weeks ago.

If you read the state of the game post from yesterday, they dont plan on changing the Jedi path until publish 10. It appears there is still a good 3-4 months before hologrinders go away. I wouldnt freak out over one guy quitting the resource business.
