Can you create a schematic for a wall, and have different structure modules (created with different resources) in the input hopper?

Yes, Wall schematics are funny that way. Stuff any old structure module in them and you'll get walls out... required the mineral resources are available.

Yeah if you look at the ingredients needed for thi schemnatic you'll notice that structure modes (and walls too) have no serial number like other itmes do

Yup, structural modules do not need to be identical.
What I did was make a schematic for 1000 walls, put all the resources needed to make em in the factory, and have a second factory spit out structural modules and move those to my wall factory. This way, I used up 10 structural modules making the schematic for 1000 walls. Before I got smart, I'd waste 10 modules per 100 walls thinking they had to be identical. What a waste =(

Yeah, or I'd go "no, i've only got a few crates of that module's serial numberleft. I guess I better make a whole new run before I make a wall schematic, or I'll just waste a bunch of uses and have to make another anyway."
Not to mention having three or four wall schematics at once and going "now whereare the ore and modules that go with this one...?"

Yeah, thankfully they do not have to be all the same. It's enough work to have to worry about resources being the same. Good times!

yes, factory made wall schematics don't call for serial numbered components.
