Gentlemen , I wish to embibe on your vast intelect and wisdom.
I have gotten my Artisan Master but at this moment find it easiest to make moenty being a resource dealer. I have networked a few 'Combat' Guildmates to set extractors for me. I recently purchased a BER13 Chem extractor for what I believe to be an incredible deal..
However a problem arose when I attempted to move this. I did not read carefully enough I suppose. But when I went to take it down from the place where I originally set it up. It disappeared. Its not in my inventory and its not where I had it set up. I had my lot freed up to place another extractor.... So my question is this , is there a limit to the number of times an Extractor can be moved?
Thank you for your patience and knowledge

the answer is that any harv, factory,or structure can be redeeded as long as you insert the correct amount of credits into it at the time of reededing i suspect that if it disapeared then you maybe did not do this ie. all thelines werered and not green..if you did put the correct amount of creds in i suggest you contact a csr via your holocron ctrl-h..soul

You know, now that you say that .....
I have just learned a valuable lesson. I did have 1 red line... so I made a deposit that I thought would cover the gap. I did not refresh the window, and instead chose to dismantle the extractor with a red line. So spent 30k for 15k of med grade fiberplast.
yeah!! go me!!

Yeah, even with that red line, if you get tired or in a hurry to tear down a harvester (particularly a whole bunch of harvesters), you can screw it up. I've come close a few times. Just slow down and pay attention.
On thing I do quite often, since I'm re-using the same set of harvesters and they retain their maintenance money, is just to add some amount (e.g., 5K) of money before I even start the tear-down operation. That will cover the redeed cost and not slow me down on the re-deed process.

Even if you pay enough to cover the difference, you MUST re-start the process. Otherwise, you're still stuck in "destroy" mode (the next dialog says WILL NOT).
It would be nice if there was a "refresh" button that would acknowledge your payment, but I don't know how difficult that would be technically.

Sounds like you tried to re-deed the harvester without the minimum maintenance in the pool... Every time you re-deed it costs a certain amount of the maintenance pool to get the deed back... there's a warning message in red if you won't get the deed back if you type in the re-deed code.
Harvesters last forever as long as they have plenty of maintenance in the pool.
