Ok, I have a theory and I wanted to share it with the Archs of the world
Now off the top of my head, 2 big things that we want is Fusion experimentation and COLOR
My theory on why we dont get it,
There are 39 Profession forums if each of them had 5 problems that would be 195 problems
There are 26 Server Forums including Test Center , if each of them had 10 problems that would 260 problems
Add in .. IN DEVELOPMENT and IN CONCEPT and multiply those by the server and give them 5 problems that gives those 260 more problems
Add in ... JTL and lets say that each server has 5 problems with that.. 130 more
Total = 845 problems ... if each problems take 3hours to fix (this is theory here) 845 * 3 = 2535 hours for fixing
Lets say there are 20 devs that work 40 hours a wk....800 hours spent at the office....
Take out time in meeting talking about these .. we will say ... 3 hours a day.. 300 hours talking about stuff
Take out time spentTalking aboutcode... we will say 3 hours a day (IN THEORY) 300 more hours
Take out time Spent on break while on the clock .. we will say 1 hour a day (100 more hours a wk 20*1dev* 5days)
Take out time daydreaming.. 30mins a day.. so 50hours a wk
Total = 750 hours talking/thinking/break/daydreaming
Leaves 50 hours a wk to fix problems divided by 20devs and you get 2.5 hours a WK that get to fix problems
SO take 2535 divided by 2.5 and you get 1014 hours needed to fix the problems, if they only get 2.5 a wk to work on this it would take 405 wks to solve those problems and if you take into account that when you Change the code it causes more problems and then they have to talk about that OMG it takes forever..
NOW Wonder why we dont get what we want.. NO ONE CARES..
Just a little fun thing to think about.

Great post! To be sure, the Dev's have a daunting task with SWG. There are problems with each profession, and they have contractual obligations to meet. They couldn't pay me enough to work on this. But, SOE has also backed itself into a corner. Test Center is a joke. There is zero incentive for people to go on, and spend serious time testing. I'm not taking about hard cash, but rewards passed on to the in-live servers would be nice -- badges, unique decorations...something. As we've seen week in and week out, TC is simply the first step. Then the patch goes live, and SOE spends the next week fixing the bugs from said patch. I'm a realist, I know patches and publishes will never be perfect, but it would be generous to say they've even been decent. A Life Day quest published without the Wookiee's in Red? Architect schematics added, then nerfed a week later...blah blah blah.
SOE -- give us a reason to help with TC and you'll find people actually will! At it stands, a lot of testing is being done in-live. Sorry folks, I pay monthly for this to have fun, relaxe, and enjoy. I'm not paying SOE to be a beta tester. I'd be happy to lend my time in TC, but not for nothing... Greedy, perhaps, but honest.
