Thread: What furniture would you like to see?

Any artwork in game as decoration already would be a nice start. I think arches should be able to make it or at least have it available via quest or something.
I would like bathroom stuff as mentioned, I would like more "working pieces" in game. Some people have made neat things such as pool tables or ceiling fans etc etc I would like to see things like that in game. It would be neat to have working board games we could have in our own homes. Real fish tanks? Real items for kitchens. More matching furniture would be great over all. Tvs? Music players etc etc.
I could go on and on.

More working furniture would acctually be one of the greatest things. Most of my business now is selling furniture as most people already have the houses they want. It would be nice, really nice, to be able to give them a wider selection of furniture and home furnishings. I don't know that I'd go so far as to request bathroom fixtures since using the bathroom isn't nessisary, but a bigger and more colorful selection should be allowed. Also, people have mentioned functional objects, and the ability to place the gambling machines in our homes and Player City Structures, would make things alot more realistict (At least in terms of the SW universe). Oh and Sabaac tables and or decks, this is a MUST! It's one of the biggest things in the SW universe and it's nowhere to be seen in this game?!?!?! I mean, Han WINS the Falcon from Lando playing SABAAC!!! But reguardless, arches should have the ability to customize the furniture as well, changing colors and so forth. Armor, vehicles, and other things have the ability to change colors according to the whim of the players why isn't the furniture that way as well?

i'm starting this thread because i've looked over this forum section and not found anything that ask's what furniture you would like to see
heres what i would like too see, put your feedback to tell the community what you would like to see 
one key bit of furniture this game should have for architects to build is random poles and sheet's of differentmaterials and all other sorts of thinks that are pointless on there own but would allow architects and all other professions to be able to build whatever they want and make stuff that looks good and not put together out of lots of out of place things (allthogh i've got to admitneerly allof the stuff done is very good).
e.g. poles of different lengths and angles that could be set a colour when crafting
sections of glass and sheet metal with different textures to choise from
mabe bricks or box's also with options to change there colour/texture
if this would beintegrated with the game that would make us all happy but personally i dont see this happening any time soon

I would like to see that holo-chess game, dunno what its called but r2-d2 and chewbacca play it on the falcon ("Let the wookiee win" scene) on SW:ANH. Maybe get some "themed furniture" like sets that match a certain planet's style. Definetly add more variety of plants, small to medium size fountains. A trophie case/stand/shelving, kinda like a glass box on a stand which you can put things in to show off, maybe make larger shelving version for showing off goods for placing in shops/malls.
different color indoor lighting, like the outdoor lamps have would becool.
The abilty to place furniture on roofs, and front porches. Dropable and movable outdoor signs with different lighting.
Furniture with mirrors would be neat for houses and tailor shops, i know u can just rotate the camera around to see yerself

just try n roleplay here Paintings makable by architects, not just temp schematics or lewt.
Droid equipment, like droid cleaning equipment, repair tables, computer terminals,and other knick knacks.
Clothing mannequins , like add clothing to it and it wears it to show it off so the user doesnt have to move it all manually.
Thats all i can think of atm

Although I'm always up for new furniture, what I'm really waiting for is the ability to colour furniture.
Colour would make me a happy camper for a long while.

great idear so far keep em comeing i espesually like the idear on the bathroom stuff and other artwork, it would be nice to have lots of other things to sell to the o so demanding public

Maybe wallpaper colours for houses that architects can put up, and some decorative rugs of many kinds coz i always have a HUGE space on my floors where putting a table would look stupid, and FURNITURE CUSTOMISATION KITS or summit.

Small models like bantha statues, actually paint some 1s portrate maybe so that they have a priceless peice

What I would like to see more than anything is rotatation of new objects ... maybe replace a few old schematics with new ones every month. I really like to build furniture I just don't like building the same damned things all the time. I would even be really keen on things like the paintings. Limited use schematics for new furniture or decorative items but there needs to be more of em imho. I would also love to see architects able to build some functional furniture and equipment. I would love to see cabinets that actually hold items or a data terminal that stores waypoints or allows you access to your bank account from your house or something. I alos had a customer suggest maybe being able to build pillows or throw pillows or something like that which I thought was an interesting idea.

Here are some things I'd like to see:
Animated fishtanks
Gaming tables as mentioned (though sabaac doesn't have to be part of it. I don't think you have the rescources to program that while your on all the other stuff)
Beds that let you actually lie down
Drink stand/wine cabinet
Custom banners for guilds (just colors would be fine if you don't want to do picture logos)
Plus furniture and structure cusomization is a MUST!

Custom paintings/banners/logos will never happen, people would use profane language/images if you gave them half a chance.
I'd like to see more plants personally. Maybe domestic pets that would walk around the house or follow you. And as someone mentioned: desks.
