If the serial number matches then they are identical. That is all that matters.

I've just started using factories, so I'm trying to gather info.
I realize that factories will break an order up into crates of 25, are these crates all considered identical? as in, if I want to use a crateful of components to make 100 of something, can i throw in 4 crates of 25 components (assuming the crates all came from the same schematic, just broken up into crates of 25 by the factory)?
Thanks for any help.

You will ALWAYS get the same identical serial number from that particular schematic you use in the factory. It don't matter if it makes 100 10 unit crates. Even can take theschematci out and put it back it. It's based on the serial number in the schematic.
