I have seen 11, but have heard rumors of 14 and higher. Now I know fusions can get to 15+ easily, but I am specifically talking about floras. Any info would be appreciated.

From what I've seen the max would be 12. There are cuttoffs at each 25% it seems. 25%+ 9kg 50%+ 10kg 75%+ 11kg. So it might be possible with 1000 stat resources to hit 100% and get 12kg+.

They just don't keep going higher and higher, experimentation maxes out at some point.

Yep, 9kg's are easy to make with junk resources.

I have made a few 10's with so-so resrouces.

I have made an 11 with pretty good resources.

I expect 12 is the max.

18 spec heavy what? I don't have a +25 and the best I have gotten on a subcomponent is 62% - this is a +3 to the base rate of 7 (for 10 total). Was this 18 a fusion gen? I was under the impression that the most you can get on a heavy mineral/chem/flora/gas is 11 (from 76%-100%). What percentage did this person get on his subcomponents?

18? There's a reason that hearsay isn't allowed in a court of law.

Hehe let me see the screen shot on that one..

Is your friend using some resource not available in the game???

Resources cap at 1000. That means that even with 100000000000 experimentation points you cannot get more than a 100% component. All the experimentation lets you do is fully utilize the quality of the resource. It is not a never ending scale, you can only experiment within the confines of what your materials can do. That is why a 950 UT metal gets a higher percentage than a 250 UT. There is just no where to put your points with the 250UT.

Having said that though there is so much busted with this temporary setup I would not be suprised if there was a way to exploit the system like some weaponsmiths do with tapes.

This just adds to my feeling that DE and architects should be raised to 100 and then the tapes should be deleted from the game. Bonuses from player cities of course can stay.

Alternatively they should drop with a frequency sufficient so that any player should have a reasonable chance of aquiring one with a modest amount of time or credits.

Master Archetech?

I don't think an 18 is possible....nor do I think that the devs, in their continuous striving for less resources and money floating around, would almost triple the extracting abilities of the heavies, assuming you're talking about Minerals.

how can you be a Master Architect, yet never happen to note the spelling on the skill tree that you climbed?

Honestly theres a lot of BS flying around in this subject, unless you have skill tapes the best heavy you can make is 10 and its not that hard to make them,I have 6 experiment points atm with my tapes and i only use 950+ resouces to make my drive units "Ore mining units etc" and i do not do a factory run unless i get an amazing result on my experimentation "around 70%" so i would imagine there are Architects out there making 11s and 12s with +25 skill tapes but on the whole 10 is the best....

There are still many 25+ fusion around too atm but these where only produced on a couple of days around the patch and now i have not seen any 20+ produced lately "and i dont think they can be made" i have not experimented these enough because ive been making so many heavies since the patch...

I have a Fusion at 19. I can pull in with it what a normal would on a 99% spot, on a 67% spot.

That is the biggest crok of *edit*, I have used 900+ on all related stats in the sturcture and havent seen above 9 kg/hr. Please share how you get a 10 with so-so resources? I think you are blowing smoke out both of your openings.
