Is the resource requirement the same as the old harvesters? If it is different can someone tell me what is different please. I am trying to get a shopping list together to make some heavy minerals with the new extraction rates. Thanks

Ok I just found out that currently resource requirement is the same for the new and the old harvesters. My question now is what stats on the resources matter? Which ones are good for experimentation? (extraction rate) Does Malleability and Conductivity matter? Or does Unit Toughness and Decay resistance matter more? Anybody have any pointers? Thanks

my understanding is that on TC the current stats that matter are 50% UT, 25% HR and 25% SR at least i think thats what it was.... might have been DR in there rather that one of the others...

Basically if you watch for Duralloy steel it generally pops with good numbers in each of these areas. The exact formula is posted on one of the city threads by a TC architect.

You nailed the coming change perfect... 50%UT, 25%HR, 25%SR. Thats IF the current test changes do make it to other servers... not an absolute by any means but there's always a good chance of it.

In production, right now, all that matters is the Unit Toughness stat on the materials used to make one sub-assembly, the mining unit. Be it the fluidic pump unit (chem), the harvesting mechanism (floral), or the ore mining unit (mineral and fusion) -- you use good (900+) UT stat materials on this one object, and then expirement its 2nd stat up, and you'll get good spec rates.

The final experimentation on the finished harvester only affects its hopper size.
