I am having trouble accessing some items that I placed in my house. There are two crates that overlap, and I am not given the option of picking them up - the radial shows 'split' and 'examine', but when I try either option, it tells me that I can't see the object (even though they are both in the center of the room). In addition, I have one item that is completely buried in a stairway (a scout blaster), and another item that appears to have vanished competely - about 90k untis of radioactive energy.

Anyhow, I realize this may belong in a bug report, but I thought I would ask here first, since I imagine some of you have either experienced these problems yourself or heard from 'clients' who have. I appreciate any advice you may have, and appologize if it has been already covered (I searched the board and architect issues, but didn't see anything).

easy way to get this fixed....

instead of using the radial menu use the slash commands /move <forward/back> <distance 1-50> is one example or you can try the /pickup command.

for the item you can't see, you can also use the slash commands if you know the exact name of the item... it would be something like /pickup <item name> or /move <item name> <forward/back> <distance 1-50>

for the scout blaster it would look like this.... /move scout blaster back 10.

for this type of command its very important you stand as close as you can to the item and be sure there is nothing else with the same name nearby. also, remember that forward is always the direction your character is currently facing.

Thanks a bunch, Ropok - I was able to get the scout blaster at least, but the crates are still saying 'you cannot see [whatever i'm trying to grab]', and the radioactives are still mia, so i'll move on to CSR. Now I know what to do next time I lose an item in a wall though!
