I would venture a guess saying it's the 250 cap just like PA halls or large houses. There's no terminal that would report it, so I'm not absolutely sure.

I think the cap for any building is 250.

I'lll soon find out as our city hall is filling up fast, I hope it's no caps or at least 500... cause they don't use any lots..... which would be so heavnly nice if it has no limits... i can only pray.

I thought they raised the items in a pa hall to 500+?(somewheres around 650)

I'll check my guild hall,,, I sure hope the cap is 500 or more... should be 675 if it's 75 per lot

Nope PA halls are still 250. How do I know this? Well our PA hall has 233 items in it. I filled my backpack and tried to drop it. Got "this house has too many items in it".

The storage capacities are so silly. A small should have less than a medium. A large house should have considerably less than a PA hall.
