Thread: fountain and light question...
I have seen fountains and lights in buildings in city limits... can I place those same items in my PA hall if I am NOT in a city?
Thanks!
Yes you can! I have lights, a fountain (ITS HUGE), and statues in my house now and I am not in a city.

just be careful if you put streetlamps in a generic house.... talk about a whiteout when nitetime fell....
it was so bad i pulled em out of the decorating job i was doing.
Speaking of lights...
Are torches the only lights that actually act as a light source? I've seen standing lamps in several houses but they didn't seem to produce any light. Torches cast a nice glow, but come on... this isn't the middle ages, and the last thing I need in my house is a big smoke-bellowing torch!
Just like real life, rooms in SWG look so much better when properly lighted, which means more than just having enough light. I'd hope that we had more light sources available than the torches, which definitely look out of place.

torches are the only "regular furniture" that lights up at anytime of day.
the new city fixtures "streetlamps" (15 flavours) can be placed inside any building and will light up during nighttime ingame, even if placed indoors.
