Hello all=) I am sorry if my lack of architectknowladge is stunning but I was wondering how much the heavy extractors go for, the ones with 2 giant pistons. Thank you very much for any info on the subject.

Ive been ranking them like this (for ore miners)

Medium 7 - 60k

Medium 8 - 70k

Medium 9 - 80k

Medium 10 - 100k

Heavy 10 - 100k (!!!)

Heavy 11 - 120k

Heavy 12 - 150k

Heavy 13 - 200k (this is what I used to sell 10's for....by the truckload)

The sub optimum makes are usually the results of a duffed experimentation as opposed to my attempts to craft variery.

Its hard to say yet if this pricing structure will persist.

It's too early to say what pricing will settle out as.

But that pricing sounds like it might stick. The biggest obstacle to getting 200k for a heavy harvester prepatch was the knowledge that if you had a 76% ore mining unit schematic, you couldn't build a *bad* heavy if you *tried*. So your BER11 and the Construction IV guy's BER7 cost you both the same amount.

Post-patch, there's definitely an element of risk. You can't tell until final combine what you wind up with. And resource quality finally matters. So yes, I think the market will realize that it takes more work to come up with a high-rate harvester post-patch, and adjust prices upwards accordingly.

It will be interesting to see what rate=4 personal harvesters made by artisans have on people's pricing perceptions, since they take less that one tenth of the resources that a medium mineral does.

My sense is that rate 4-7 mediums are dead. If you are lot-constrained and need to move up, you will go up to the rate 8-10 mediums.
