Let's face it. With the Maintenance being able to be drawn from a player's bank account we Architects cannot really make money. Houses and factories are probably the best thing to make at this time to make any decent cash, but, here's an alternative that keeps my architect going on Lowca:

1. Be creative with furniture. Not many people on my server do this, but, I rename my furntire to be more unique. For example; When I make a potted tree I will rename it to something like Ithorian Prayer Tree. Then I make about 20-30 of them. After that I will make another 20-30 trees with a different name. Same thing for a chest. Instead of just being a chest, I will rename them to a cabinet or a wall locker. This keeps my business going.

2. Use other professions to enhance your Architect. I have a Droid Engineer alt that specializes in Droid Chassis and renames them. An example would be to make an LE repair Droid Chassis and rename it to somehting like an Imperial Security Droid. BE's could also be helpful. They can craft certain items taht look like coffee pots/tea pots.

3. Become a home decorator if you can. You can specialize in styles of decorating. Be creative.

4. Make package deals with furniture and make them limited offers. For about 2 or 3 months I had created a package of furntiure to decorate your building into a Flight School for all 3 factions.These packages sold rather well and after 2-3 months I stopped. People may see these in their friend's homes and want to know who made them and where to get them which would generate business for you. You may even get custom orders. Be creative.

**SOE's focus has been on nothing but combat characters and until they listen to the needs of others, they will continue to focus on them and leave our crafters on the back burner. Until then you need to be creative with what limited junk we have.We need more styles of furniture to be implemented, not these retarded one time schematics. We need more color options. We need newer styles of buildings, customization of buildings, things like that, but I doubt it will happen. Until then BE CREATIVE and you will prosper**
