Thread: PA Hall's revamp!!

Ok....I want to start by saying,PA halls? The reason I'am saying "PA Hall" is simple.
We must as with any structure be able to to add thing's to enhance it appearance! I would love to add an outside vendor, or street light to the roof of my generic planet PA hall! I know there alot of PA halls or guilds who would love this.I for one see the need for functional outside light's,lamps,vendors e.t.c maybe someone else can throw in some good ideas,Since i believe this would be a great addtion for are PA hall's and guild's in general.
1 be allowed to add dropable objects on roofs,or porches.
2 be able to drop vendors in front of entrance's or on roof's.
3 make user created sign's so we can can point people to certain areas of are guild halls.
4 have an off and on switch for lights.
5 have locked doors with keycodes,or an alarm system that sends the guild leader an e-mail when triggered.
6 allow the us to actualy lay down on are beds instead of sitting on everything like it'a all default chairs.
And.....a little of my topic but not too much.
allow us to have stages for are cantina's!
and my god it's time! let us have a drive thru window!! there ive said it goodnight all.
Anymore ideas?

Well I am not so sure about the need for a drive thru window... LOL. But there are lots of things PA halls should have and or do. It would be great if for example PA members could donate lots to the PA so that one person doesnt have to take up all his lots for the structure.
As to dropping things on the roof I have read that the cells that make up the outside are very different than the ones that make up the inside. What that means is that they will not be making that happen anytime soon. However it was also stated that it may be possible to make a prepackaged layout to drop in the space. Again that means not until after the mythical combat rebalance.
Structures as a whole it would be nice if i could pump all my lots into one large house and get 75 units of storage for each lot I put into it. Then at least I could put all my stuff in one house. Life would be so much easier! Cities would have more room and not be warehouses lol.

To me one of the most annoying things is not being able to use the bank while mounted. Come on we have drive in banks IRL, lets put it in the game.

The bazaar terms work while mounted. I wonder what is different about banks?

i really likek the light switch idea, along with the door codes.
one reason why they wont let you place vendors outside, too much lag. you know what its like, when you first enter a house, and it takes that first few seconds, then a lage spike as all the items are loaded in? well, if this were in a player city, imagine how much bigger that spike would be?
however, i really like the other ideas,

Don't count on items being placed on the roof, the time it would take to load the outside textures along with the items on the rooftops would be insane.

But if they put invisible walls around it (much the way PA Hall and Merchant Tent entrances work), the items wouldn't load for you until you went into the structure anyway.
