Just a Idea,
It would be real nice if we as achitects be able to add more storage to things we build by adding additional storage modules to Houses, Factories and Harvesters.
With the vendor caps the way they are, Furniture counting towards total item count in houses and limits on hopper size could SOE give us the abilty to add additonal Storage moduels to increase storage limits that are capped by the game.
SOE could also add in more maintence for the additonal storage moduels to balance out the cost of addtional stoarge as everyone knows there are a few money sinks in this game one more that really gives a better effect or return on credits invested like this would be a boon to architects selling furniture, better storage in out buildings, and harvesters will allow better storage of resources for longer term harvesting.
Everyone please coment on this and maybe the dev's can take a peak into this idea.

The idea has merit and many would gladly pay high daily maintenance for additional storage.
I haven't seen any sign though that the Devs are willing to budge on increasing storage.

Quoting myself from another recent thread:
"My own solution idea was fairly simple (seemingly). That architects gain a schematic enabling them to build directly into each home they build, a "Storage Locker". Said locker would hold say, 200 items, or what have you. No items inside the locker would ever count against the items limits of the house, and the locker itself would not count as an item, simply as a built in part of the house."

It would at least mean no need to render the items until it's accessed, which only an admin (probably) could do. The problem is, it means we can have more items, which the devs seem strongly against, despite things like loot kits...

DocSavage wrote this over in the Merchant Forum:
"You first have to get them to agree that you need more storage. I don't think they agree with you. I think they believe you have more than you should have now and that increasing it wouldn't be healthy for the game. If that is the case they would have no motivation to add storage mechanisms into the game first. In fact I believe if you talked to them bluntly they would tell you that it is too easy to get practically unlimited storage and they are not going to expand any storage in the game until they lock those down as tightly as they can otherwise the storage probelm gets worse from there perspective and those who will store 1000's of items will have even more ways to do it."

I as an architect would LOVE to see this implemented and be able to do it.

That would be an interesting idea to implement, and something to give a little more diversity and competition within the profession...

I totally agree with the topic of adding "storage lockers" It would help eliminate having extra "storage houses" which take up prime spots for new vendors and such. I know i always run out of room in my store and various homes.
Another thing is what's the deal with small homes having the same storage space as mediums??? if they don't add the storage locker option i believe they should at least increase the amount of storage space of medium homes and guild hall which should all hold more than they do now...
one other thing I had newb question about the crafting stations. I've seen some that say they extra storage with them...does that mean u can put things in them? and that probably counts towards the items in the house too huh?

However, if the devs don't like the idea of endless storage modules in a house, make each module cost a lot. That would reduce the huge number of small storage houses across the landscape, and enable u to fully decorate your large house.

Why is storage bad for the game? lag?
We, as architects, arethe only ones I can think of who would suffer since players would buy less buildings. Am I forgetting some other group or game feature?
Otherwise I think it would clear up a lot of land and provide the opportunity for some really neat decorations in houses.

Disposables are what you need!
+50 storage max (for 12 pointers)
+30
cost like 10k
last for like 3-5 days
