Thread: I give up...

I've tried everything I can think of to figure out what's wrong. I placed astructure and furniture crafting station in my personal residence. Now I can't seem to experiment while trying to make another. Tried moving the thing all over, not sure what else to try. Anyone else run into this?

Are you trying to use a general crafting tool? You can only experiment if you're using the appropriate tool for the station. In this case that would be a structure/furniture crafting tool.

As I sell a lot of crafting stations to off-world customers, I run into this issue a lot.

Here is how you fix it.

1) Pick up your station.
2) Go to the nearest starport, and buy a ticket to anywhere on another planet.
3) Ride the shuttle to that place.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to get back to your place.
5) Place the station back down in your house.

There is something that happens when you travel to another planet that fixes the station. I don't know what or why, but it always works. And no, just going to another city on the same planet will not fix it.

I recently had trouble with my factory made +43 stations not working in some naboo houses.


Person put it in his small naboo, it wouldn't work. Took it 100m to his friends generic house, it worked. Took it back to his small naboo, it didn't work.


Go figure.

I replaced it with a station that had a higher functionality rating. That seemed to work fine. The original, non-working station had a FR of -34.2 and the new one is around +3.4.


Also, be sure to recharge those droids (I was using one for a food/chemical crafting station). There's no warning message (that I've been able to see) and if it gets a low charge, you can't experiment and use it as a crafting station. This is independent of the issue with crafting stations above.

Well, so much for that. Crafted some furniture this morning, increased the quality through experimentation.


But I just tried another structure and furniture crafting station and got no option to experiment. /bugged it, for what that's worth.

I've spent days capping out my swordsman XP, VERY tiring and far to long... every session Icap my XP and transfer It into force XP, It's so depressing.. so little XP for so much time, If you ask me, It's all a waste of time, countless days of grinding just for initiate.. then more from there, just not worth It..

FAR too many Jedi anyway... just adding to the population wouldnt be much fun atall, seeing as there are 40-300/what everper server...

Try being a non combat charater with a 80K xp cap
