I have seen it all - BER13 Heavies and BER14 fusions selling under 100k

Who in their right mind would start selling at that point - especially an item that does not decay and can be re-deeded as many times as the owner wants.

The other side of the coin is that raw resources are going for so much now that Archies are getting killed.

I keep getting people only wanting to pay 2 to 3 cpu for my products. Including the Master Couch which I can sell the Endorian Wooly it takes for upwards of 100 cpu at the moment, and buyng it at that price means a 25K couch which I can't sell cause everyone else on my server is coming in at around 10K

100k? Thats not too low. We've had prices in the 80k range on our server for like 6 months now. /shrug

I wouldn't sweat it too much. You'll should still get business at reasonable prices.

I did an experiment a while ago and comapred sales at a low price verus sales at a higher price and I didn't sell much more at all with the low prices and the higher prices netted much better revenue and profit.

agree with pawlin. just wait a bit and those people selling at those lose of prices will eventually die out. youll see who the true architects are by how long theve been around. you will just have to wait it out is my guess.

Thanks for the 5 start - lol

I plan on waiting it out. The thing kiiling me on Interpid right now is the folks selling in the 90k range are the lot swappers running 150-300 harvesters. I have been a Master Architect for the last 8 months - keep my vendor stocked with at least 15-20 of every deed.

Have not jumped into furniture that much (yet) but with the changes on TC relating to furniture with storage - I may just start cranking out furniture.

Its funny how people pay hundeds (if not thousands) of credit per unit for weapons and armor that they will have to replace. But let an architect price anything above 3-4CPU and he sells nothing.

Of course when JTL comes out - may have to drop architect for shipwright - but the truth is that I really do enjoy the crafting aspect of architect.

What a delimma.......

I think this is the case on almost every server. I don't even care anymore. Selling a lot of harvestersevery day only means a lot of boring work to restock them. Instead I've focussed on stocking everything I can make, which results inreally goodfurniture sales and it keeps things interesting. And just advertize once in a while, keeps you in the spotlight. When the price-cutters (is that even a word) die out, you will be the one that people remember next.

price discussions are one of the most annoying things since this game came out and somehow only architects are that dump with picings lol

we have lowest cpu and its our own fault, right from the start ppl lowcutted and other followed instead of waited till the lowcutters are vanished cause they got pumped out to work their butt off to restock every 2 hrs.

charge just what you feel your work is worth it, dont care cpu and sure dont count even cpu.

you not selling pure resources, u sell a product, for what u need skill and time to make.

count that all in and sell for a not to low price and you will be fine.

as pawlin said, low prices dont bring you more money in the long run, but you work 24/7 to fill your vendor.

i work and others buy and enjoy, so they happily pay a bit more as long they get what they seek from me

service comes then into acount, like have alot stuff to offer so ppl dont have to seek on 4 planets

and yes cross server lot trades ruined the most of our profession, cause normally nobody can restock 100 heavy harvesters without mining several weeks for it. but if some ppl got 200 harvesters cause of that stupid cros trades, then they got more then enough resources, aka they need to get rid of it, so prices go down. cross trades are NOT intended by the game and its for sure very very bad for economy. i seriously hope they change it some day.

I certainly don't think its that undercutters are just stupid. Its the way the system is setup for us. Our goods are too similar so they end up essentially a commodity item. And since its a 30 minute grind to become a master we get more competition. This leads to undercutting and low prices.

Availability of resources should help to hold us back from mass production and keep the supply down. With lower supply it should keep prices up. But cross server lot trades make it too easy to get mass amounts of resources.

And throw in low demand we've got now due to lack of decay and whatever and yo've got a pretty poor situation for us.

Supply and demand will work to kill off some of the undercutters in the long run but its always harder to increase prices after they've dropped.

Whats worse is that now people are abusing the 14 day free trial to get 10 more lots to harvest with. I've seen it happen with people I know when something came up they "Really really" needed.

The only solution is for more people to drop Architect. It's a free market economy so if you want to make more money go into a more lucrative profession. Basic supply vs demand.

I honestly can't believe people do Architect anymore. It must make you sick knowing a new Weaponsmith can charge 100-500cpu when you have trouble getting 4cpu. You're better off just harvesting the mega resources and selling them for 10+ cpu.
