Thread: Need a few clarifications from anyone in the Ber 13 business
For sub components on making Ber13 harvestors, I need the following resources with certain stats listed:
Steel (high HR/SR/UT)
Metal (high HR/SR/UT)
Chemical (these can only have OQ/SR/UT, does it effect anything or should I use lube oil?)
Inert Gas (only DR/OQ, does this effect anything or no since what it used in only checks HR/SR/UT for experimental efficiency %'s ?)
Copper (stats dont matter, correct?)
Carbonate Ore (stats dont matter, correct?)
Aluminum (stats dont matter, correct?)
Low Grade Ore (stats dont matter, correct?)
Reactive Gas (stats dont matter, correct?)
Note that, im asking on the stats on those for SUB COMPONENTS, not the final combine.
Now for the final combine with everything, stats matter for:
Steel (high HR/SR/UT
Metal (probably just use steel)
Chemical (doesnt matter, correct?)
That about sums it up I guess. I just want to make sure I know which resources need the high stats and which stats, so I can start harvesting now

I plan on working my way up architect and having a vendor, so I have been reading through the FAQ's and I would like some clarifications on a couple of things I have compiled together from various posts.
For sub components on making Ber13 harvestors, I need the following resources with certain stats listed:
Steel (high HR/SR/UT) - for 'mining component' and final combine only, NOT necessary for other components
Metal (high HR/SR/UT) - for 'mining component' and final combine only, NOT necessary for other components
Chemical (these can only have OQ/SR/UT, does it effect anything or should I use lube oil?) - Use lube oil or liquid petchem fuel, unless the SR/UT are better than the average of you other HQ stuff.
Inert Gas (only DR/OQ, does this effect anything or no since what it used in only checks HR/SR/UT for experimental efficiency %'s ?) - no, stats do not matter
Copper (stats dont matter, correct?) - used in 'other' components, so stats don't matter
Carbonate Ore (stats dont matter, correct?) - used in 'other' components, so stats don't matter
Aluminum (stats dont matter, correct?) - used in 'other' components, so stats don't matter
Low Grade Ore (stats dont matter, correct?) - used in 'other' components, so stats don't matter
Reactive Gas (stats dont matter, correct?) - used in 'other' components, so stats don't matter
Note that, im asking on the stats on those for SUB COMPONENTS, not the final combine. - Simply put, if the component is the main mining unit, OMU, TFDP etc, then it needs to be made from HQ resources, if any other component it can be made from grind quality stuff
Now for the final combine with everything, stats matter for:
Steel (high HR/SR/UT) - correct
Metal (probably just use steel) - or iron which also comes with high HR/SR/UT and can sometimes be cheaper
Chemical (doesnt matter, correct?) - Follows same rules as for components, if it has SR or UT they need to be high, so it is best to use lube oil or liquid petchem fuel
You are missing the Ore in your final combine, this needs to be high HR/SR/UT as well.
That about sums it up I guess. I just want to make sure I know which resources need the high stats and which stats, so I can start harvesting nowThanks.

Thanks for the reply, it is appreciated. Your post actually cleared things up for me pretty good, now I just have to go drop down some harvestors and start working
Also, I checked the other post before but, I wasnt sure what parts of it ment but, you cleared it up. Thanks again.
