Other than experience, what does it take to get Novice Architect? I have been working under the assumption that you need to master the whole Artisan profession, first; but I have not been able to find that written down any place. Thanks

You have to get to Engineering IV in the Artisan tree (which will cost you 10,500 General Crafting XP total), then you need 33,000 additional General Crafting XP to qualify for Novice Architect.

You'll also need 5,000 credits to learn the skill from a trainer.

Thanks, Glad I found that out before I wasted too much time and credits on Business. I wanted the Surveying and Domestic Arts any way.

What are the prerequisites for Pistoleer? (Sorry, I'm on vacation so I can't look at the skill trees in game).

The only prerequisites are that you fill up all four skill boxes of Pistol in Marksman (Pistol Specialist). Then another 125,000 points of Pistol experience and 5,000 credits to the trainer and you're a Novice Pistoleer.
