You can build on any planet, as long as it's a buildable zone. Generally, this is at least 1000m from the nearest city, on relatively flat ground, not too near a spawned camp or lair. But even then, it's hit or miss as to whether or not you can build there.

Correct me if I'm wrong but On planets other than Corillia, Naboo, and Tatooie you need a generic house plan.

so you couldn't put, say, a Naboo house on Dathomir?

Right, you need a Deed specifically built for the planet.. or a generic.

I would like to know if you can build houses on places like yavin 4 or lok ?
