Does anyone have the stats on all the harvesters ie

Wind Generator at 100%

5760Mined a day

Cost per day

Mineral/Chemical at 100%

Mined a day

Cost per day

Solar Generator

Cost per day

Mined per day

Medium Harvesters

Heavy Harvesters

Fusion Generators

Flora

Well, cost per day for personal wind generators is 1440 credits, and personal mineracl/chemical is 720 credits per day. Power for mineral/chemical should be 600 units/day.

I'm not 100% sure about the power, I read it posted by someone else, and haven't verified it yet, but I have verified the cost above.

The above info is right. Medium harvesters cost double the amount, but pull in double the resources. According to the site above... big harvesters cost a little over 3x base cost but pull in about 3.5-4x resources.

I am unable to go to that site (work blocks it). What about solar generators? I was told they only use 1440 and bring in over 2 times whata wind generator does.

solar generators are double wind for maintenance but are 8kg/h instead of 5kg/h. However, solar is more abundant than wind, so it is easier to find a 50% solar than a 40% wind..

I have 4 solars on a 63% source on Rori on Tarquinas server, and I get 30k power per day with a maintenance of about 11,500 creds per day. 8 wind generators on a 50% source (nonexistent on rori) would cost the same, take 2 times the lots, and produce a few thousand less than the 4 solars on the 63%. The real benefit is if you can find the solar energy.. otherwise the solar is less efficient than wind.. Fusion is even worse at 13kg/h each.. 4 wind is 20kg/h and 2 solar is 16 kg/h, all costing the same in maintenance, but it is easy to find a 30% wind, a 50% solar, or a 70% radioactive, so the bottom line really comes in at the lots it uses..

The cost on soalr for upkeep is the same as wind...The out put on wind is 5kgph the solar is 8kgph and yes the solar spots are alot easier to find in higher % ..Solar is a far superior power source..

Everyone's stats and math are a little bit off.

Perpetual_Dark apparently does not read the threads he posts to very well because he made the same claim here
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Tarquinas&message.id=2526
Where I plainly told him that his statistics were wrong.
Solar Power has the same maintenance as Wind Power and yields about 38% greater production.

I'm sorry, but the 60% greater production is wrong. I think you just reversed your numbers... easy mistake to make.

Here are the numbers:

Wind Power Generator

Maintenance: 30/half hour = 60/hour = 1440 per day
Optimum Production Rate: 5 KG/H = 5 Units/Minute
Summary: Per day at 100% this unit will produce 7200 units of power at a rate of 5 units per credit
Interesting... hmm

Solar Power Generator

Maintenance: 30/half hour = 60/hour = 1440 per day
Optimum Production Rate: 8 KG/H = 8 Units/Minute
Summary: Per day at 100% this unit will produce 11520 units of power at a rate of 8 units per credit
Even MORE interesting... HMM.

I thought the harvester yield formula was such that a 3.50 kg/hr rate would yield 350 units per hour, not 3.5 units per minute. Which is correct?

Joshie... on all extractors and Generators the production rate Displays KG/H

I don't know what that means exactly (I'm assuming Kilograms/Hour) but what is SHOULD say is Units per Minute.

Whatever it is, it's very confusing and should be changed... same as maintenance rate.

If you look at the status of any generator or turbine it gives you a maintenance rate of 15, 30, etc. This is every HALF hour, not every hour. So if you want to figure your maintenance rate per hour you have to multiply your displayed maintenance rate by 2. If you want to figure out your maint. rate per day, you have to multiply by 48.

The power consumption on extractors is calculated per hour, so it's safe to say that the 25 on personal harvesters means 25 power units per hour.

I hope this clarifies things a little. Feel free to contact me in game. I'll meet you to show you what I mean.

If you go to swgcraft.com and click on tools there is a resource calculator there. It shows you everything that you need. You can then post all you want about what you have found here.

I understand how the maintenance and power rates work, it's just that I had heard that the KG/hr thing worked as I previously described it. I've been too lazy/busy to test it myself.

solar is the exact same maintainace, and generates 60% higher power
