my small guild of 10 members worked very very hard for 2 days gather resorces for star to build us a guild hall, our leader eh'kreadou said she had a critical error the other day on a hall, so knowing how rare they are(i have only even heard of 2, 1 in beta, and the one star had the other day, which i have not confirmed). our guild leader went to star and next thing we know, critical error! i saw it coming, so did a couple others.

don't anyone know that your in game name stays with you, if u cheat someone out of something, your name will get out on a black list or something.

So STAR i will have your name out all over ahazi for being a thief, i have reported you to sony already, and it's the last time i trust someone with anything(it's a **edit** game people, why ruin it for someone else)

Also as a side note Kabukkaspet ripped off one of my buddies with a probot worth 25k, i did not report him, but we are spreading the word(even got a big pa on bestine to help with this one)

thanks alot

Someone you can trust on Ahazi is JDM. My group has bought two houses from them and they are very reputable. Dre, Jayt and Polaris (I think is her name). I am referring all my friends to them and if you need a guild hall try them. They will not cheat you.

ok, here is the thing, my guild master never told me me vital information, i talked with star, and she said she was going to make it up to us. i never knew that, the way i was told is we are screwed, and it's too bad. if i was told this before, i would not have posted.

so first all Star, i'm sorry for trying to blast you, i spoke before i thought about the situation. hopefully i have not hurt you as bad as i hurt my reputation here. 1,000,000 sorries can not take back what i did. i don't know how, but i will make this up to you ingame somehow. let me know what i can do.

second, i'm a jackass.

thanks

And posts like this is why I never makeanything for resources and am just amazed at the number of architects that do.

Wow I am glad I'm not on that server. Talk about a tough crowd. You have a failure, which is of course no fault of the Architect, it's a roll of the dice. No sooner do you see the critical failure and want to cry, but then you're blackballed publicly on the SOE boards. Sheesh!

I don't generally accept the whole "you give me the resources" deals, it's too likely an unfortunate situation like this can happen. Don't feel too bad though JoeyC, maybe by you doing this and then posting it all here, someone else will learn from your mistake.

I dont care if yall accept resources or not. I do. And when i accept resources, i give a disclamer that i am not responsible for fails. For something like a guild hall, i would probaly not accept resources anyway bc i want the full profiets. Joey u must understand, star is a master now. He doesn't need resources bc he doesn't need to gain any more. If yall gave him resources, he accepted them on the kindness of his heart and he probaly took a profiet hit for it. If it fails, it fails.

Critical Failures happen to everyone...I can't even begin to understand your logic for showing HATE towards this Architect.

Hopefully they will adopt something to what Everquest did with crafting. If you're grouped with someone while they are crafting you "see" their messages in the chat box.

"Zane is crafting a CDEF pistol_8,124,167"

"Zane has critically failed a CDEF pistol_8,124,167"

That would solve a few problems with cheating. The only other thing you have to do deal with is the "All trades are final rule." Nothing is stopping that person from just keeping that stack of 1 million steel and saying tough luck buddy, except him or her being blasted to bits on the boards and blacklisted in the game for all eternity <shrug>

Simple solution, use secure trading. Trade the materials for an already made deed. 'nuf said.

You screwed up royally. When I someone comes to me and asks me to make them something for just the resources, guess what...they assume the responsibility for failures, not me. You should have spent your 2 days doing missions to cough up the cash for your guild hall. Pay cash, check the deed, you got your item. Pay with resources and you risk a cheat or a critical failure. Also, try playing an architect and tell me how good it feels to have a critical failure on something you've spent days collecting resources for. Now imagine you're doing it in front of an audience expecting a product. Again, if some cheapskate comes to me and wants me to craft them something for resources and it goes poof, so does my responsibility to make them a new one out of thin air.
