Thread: Pricing: Medium vs Large Harvesters?
Hi.
Im curious on the pricing of medium vs large harvesters from architects. This isnt a complaint etc, but im just generally curious on the price factoring between these 2 Installations.
Medium Harvesters (use mineral for this example): I have seen a range of prices from architects that is between 17k to 25k perharvester.
Large Harvesters (use mineral for this example): I have seen a range of prices from architects that is between 90k to 180k per large harvester.
I understand that large can mine upto 7, and medium upto 4. both use 1 lot of space. With this in mind regarding everyday business you would prolly expect that large harvesters would prolly be about x2 to x2.5 the price of a medium.
So what is it that makes the Large harvester so much more expensive? is it the use ofsubstantially more materials/time compared to medium?

A medium mineral harvester uses 3607 materials and none of the partshave to be factory made.
A large mineral harvester uses 27,770 materials and requiresthat 3 of the subcomponents must be factory made(it was 4 before the big patch).
Does that help answer your question?
How much is it to redeed a heavy installation? 3k still?
Same witha house and factory?
