Thread: A suggestion for all architects
I have been tinkering with the purchase of a house and have seen lots of chat about the different sizes and different floor plans and such but one thing I have asked for from many architects, and never gotten, was a chance to se what the houses look like.
I am NOT a power gamer, and don't get in more than 8-10 hours a wek and don't want to have to spend that time trying to figure out the different houses.
My suggestion to all architects is this, have available to you at all times, waypoints for houses near where you do most of your business for each type of house that you are able to make. That way, if someone starts asking you about a large corellian house, you can say "let me send you a waypoint to one near by so you can go check it out".
Take a tip from real life, model homes make sales.

If you've been tinkering with the idea of buying a house why don't you take some time and just run around and find them. I had a guy last night that wanted me to discribe a guild hall to him. What am I supposed to say? It's bigger than a bread box and has more rooms than a large house.

As I mentioned in my post, I don't play a lot, and don't what what time I do get to play to be spent trying to figure out which houses are which.
What are you supposed to say to him? Well, how about this; "I'll email you a waypoint to one near by soyou can check it out" It will take you like 10 seconds to tell him and email it, how much time will that save you just in terms of nor having to try and explain things?
If it's too much trouble to store a few waypoints, when your business is making and selling houses, don't be surprised when the casual gamer takes his business elsewhere.
