Thread: Zarcath: Our most important issues need to be repeated, regardless of them asking you not to.

I am a Master Architect.

I just failed two 18-complexity buildings in a row, that had fully experimented sub-comps. This is totally rediculous.

You need start kicking some butts on the Assembly/Exp points issue for us. The Weapon and Armor crafters got bumped to 100 in this big patch, why the hell didn't we?

The other thing is the Construction tree, but that's been explained a zillion times too.

Stop scrounging for new stuff to be angry about and pound away at these two things until they get fixed. I'd rather not be double-failing Heavy harvesters, than have decaying furniture.. wouldn't you? Wouldn't all of you?

preaching to the choir here. Lets just hope our rep does what other reps are doing and resubmitting bugs every week until they get fixed.

That's the point I guess, Zarcath was asked to stop repeating issues... but they ignored the assembly/exp point issue in the designer response.. AND kicked us in the pants by addressing this issue for the other crafting classes.

Zarcath hasn't repeated these things recently, and it would really piss me off if we got "two color choices for most kinds of furniture" before we got assembly points. =p

By giving them lists of "less critical" things, they take the easy road and address the easy fixes to try and placate the profession.

alot of us know that if you dont keep informing them about things that are broke, they will never get to it.

the whole concept of the correspondant was a good idea, but its a system that will easily let them off the hook for things to remain the way they are and never fixing anything.

I agree that issues should be repeated, but only IF they're ignored. So we post a top 5, they respond to each one, except they ignore one of the issues. We repost it. And keep reposting it until it is dealt with.

Asking to repost issues before they're even been acknowledged is hardly useful.

I disagree adune. its a fact in almost every online game that the more people complain about a broken system, the faster it will get fixed. (well depending on the scope of the system).

Obviously for drastic changes, its not gonna get fixed anytime soon, but alot of our bugs are not very deep problems.

Agreed: The more people that complain the faster something gets done. However, the top 5 report is not getting much attention at SoE.

1k posts on the general board here, THAT'S getting attention. They've only responded to 1 of the week's reports. Let's say hypothetically we made the top 5 every week:
1-Harvesting Mechanism
2-Power Cores
3-Housing Admin
4-Crit Failures
5-Crates not opening

We would have 4 weeks of this posted. SoE reads the FIRST one & responds. (See their response)
When they get around to reading the week 2 ones & responding, their response would be:
1)Saw it last week, we're looking at it.
2)Saw it last week, we're looking at it.
3)Fixed it in the last patch
4)Addressed it in the last patch
5)Saw it last week, we're looking at it.

And no progress has been made. Because of the lag time between the list being complied, and the devs responding, there's a chance that someting will be fixed by the time they respond to the first week. That means we'll have 3 more weeks of a dead concern that's already been fixed.

If you want exposure, you need LOTS of posts on the boards that devs check, not this class board.

hehe, ok. so lets organize a rally.

somebody pick a time and a day so all of us architects can get together on the main forum and everybody post a predefined thread about architech issues.

not reply to the other thread, just spam the board with individual threads. THen come back and start replying to everybody elses architect thread to keep them all on the front page.

that way nobody will get hung for bumping thier own threads and we will have a ton of threads that all say the same thing.

Thats gotta at least get the devs attention if we do it during a work day.

Well, adune is right. these forums dont get attention unless alot of people complain in the main forums. (take the merchant and commando forums for example)

whats the saying? you will catch more devs with honey?
