Actually, this issue truly baffles me, but I'm sure when you whine some more in this post one of you is bound to stumble on a reason.

Hey, thanks for the meaningless troll post. I can see by your sig that you're clearly not an architect, so your opinion is not going to carry much weight with people here. I suggest you take your trolling elsewhere if you refuse to understand or add anything positive to our discussion about the issues facing the architect profession.

well buddy, you need to hit master DE then make ALOT of R3 units and sell them at 2.5k each..... THEN you hear that Joe Somebody's sell his R3's for 2k and nobody will buy from you, so you lower your prices until you make little to 0 profit, then you will know are pain. if we charged as much as weaponsmiths it would be about 1,200,000 for a medium house and prob 3 million for a guild hall but we get stuck with 2.5-3cr per on our goods.

What baffles me is why a non-architect would come to this board to whine about whiners. Not getting enough attention for yourself on the DE forum?

He's just mad because DE's are more useless than any architect. Probably pissed off that we actually have a trade that will let us sell something... even if it is for a cheap price, at least we get to have some kinda fun.

If everybody could spend a day as an Architect they wouldn't be so quick to knock it.

I'm a Master ARchitect... and I'll agree that there are a lot of whiners in the Arch forums.

In defense... there are a lot of people that have very good ideas and contibute to the community as well. I always knew I'd find whiners... I just ignore them. THey are on all the profession forums.

lol, I just wanted to kick the bee hive. You people are so testy, really. I mean, take a break. We DEs have been taking it on the chin pretty hard from SOE and you rarely see us flat out whining about things. Architects on the other hand... well, look at your board, half of the posts here aren't suggestions, they're people whining about who's under cutting who and who can't make a profit because of such and such.

Just take a break, make some furnature, sit on it, and be happy!

BTW, nine times out of ten a DE wont make his money by selling droids. Sucks yes, but we find other ways. If you guys aren't able to profit from your profession (without going out of your way to find your own market), maybe you should consider making your money in some other way and building large items as perk or favour to others. You can, after all, make many smaller items, including sub components for other professions.

In the end, what I wished to accomplish with this post was to help some of you see that your complaining is ruining your good time playing the game, because you could be using this time learning how to play your architect in a new way. Your profession functions properly, for the most part, and it is high demand. Think about those important issues before you post.
