I make a schematic for a HARVESTING MECHANISM using handmade Generator Turbine. Then I make 3 more Generator Turbines by hand, and throw all my resources into factory plus the 3 handmade Generator Turbines. doesnt work.

Then I make a n o t h e rschematic for a HARVESTING MECHANISM using Generator Turbines made by the factory, coming from factory crates. 35 Generator Turbines from factory crates I had on me. Then I throw all my resources into factory and all 34 Generator Turbines from factory crates into factory. Doesnt work.

Then I REMOVE all of the Generator Turbines from the factory crates and throw all 34 of them into factory ONE by One, and IT STILL DOESNT FREAKING WORK!

WHATS the F'REAKING DEAL HERE?! Im stuck making MEDIUMS!!!!! FOREVER!!

When you made the factory generators did you make a new schematic using one of the factory made generators?

Last time I checked HARVESTING MECHANISM did not take generator turbines as subcomponents.

Otso, I tried to make a new schematic with turbines still inside factory crates, but wouldnt work, so I individually unloaded every factory crate and used those for new schematic.

What he's asking BBugMaster is if you popped one of the Turbines from the crate and created a schematic using THE FACTORY CRATED Turbine.

If you made the schematic (ANY schematic) using a handmade Turbine it WILL NOT WORK.

The schematic MUST use same serial numbered components. Always.

There may be better ways, but whenever I make a schematic I name the schematic with a numeric prefix, for example "#1 Generator Turbine". Then, when I view the schematic for the part requiring the factory crated component it clearly says "#1 Generator Turbine", so I KNOW which Turbine I need as a component.

You can NEVER use a hand-crafted component in ANY schematic.

First of all, harvesting mechanism does -not- require a generator.

I assume you were refering to manufacturing mechanism.

In that case, this is what you need to do.

First of all, produce factory crates of generators.

Then, use one of the factory made generators as the generated used in the manufacturing mechanism.

Then open up your datapad and look at the newly created schematic.

If you look closely at the componants, you should see a serial number beside the generator listed in that schematic.

Only generators with that serial number will work for that schematic ever.

I did that

To make manufacturing mechanisms in the factory you need to do this:

  1. Gather the materials and make generator turbines in the factory, you need to make 7.

  2. Take all of those generators out of the crate.

  3. Make a manufacturing schematic for the "Manufacturing Mechanism" using one of those generator turbines.

  4. Load the manufacturing schematic plus the EXACT same materials you used to make the schematic. The ore, copper, chemical etc all have to match the schematic.

I follow these procedures and have never had a problem making something with a factory. If the factory doesn't work then YOU messed something up.
