Thread: Structure Factory Issues (Please Help)
Hey Guys,
Ive been using this Structure Factory that my friend placed for me for some time now without any bugs. And today after make a run of 100 Structure Modules (successfully), I tried to make a run of 7 Power Core units. The factory ate up some of the resources and stopped running. I checked and double checked to make sure all the items were perfect...(Identical: when needed) and tried again....same result......then I said well maybe its just the power core is bugged......so I tried to make another run of Structure Modules and same fricken thing......I now cant make anything......Plenty of power and cash is in it, all the correct resources and NO luck.
Anyone having the same issues? Anyone have any Ideas? Please help.
p.s. - Im on Starsider

They are already working on this issue, and it's the reason why they removed the cost for re-deeding factories.
I experienced it a few days ago, and here is what I found out, and seems to work good :
- factories (whatever they could be) can't succeed in deleting the used schematic when you ask for 100 units. On a clothing one, it stops at 76 units, and said 'work finished'. Schematic couldn't be removed, nor remplaced.
- Once you crash this way, you can upload another schematic, but it will use the components for the 1st item, and you'll receive a mail '0 items were produced".
- The solution is to remove your factory, and re-deed it. BUT allways be sure to have a good amount of money in your maintenance pool, or it will not go back into your pack. If you only have the 30 seconds message, you should be able to get the deed back. Don't forget to empty input and output hoppers too.
- Since the time I used less than 100 units (I haven't figured out what could be the cap), it always finishes properly.
Of course, it's a bit more costly because for 100 units, you have to make 2 schematics, but at least it works ![]()
I hope that can help.
This is a known bug for all factories at the moment, not just structure. The solution is to redeed, which is why the devs removed the cost to redeed for factories for now as the above poster said. A server reset also fixes the problem.
There have been quite a few workarounds posted here in another thread. They do not work all the time for everyone. Try them at your own risk. The only workarounds that do work all the time for everyone is to redeed or wait for the server to reset.
Power core units have their own problems aside from the one you are describing, but that is an architect specific bug.
