Thread: Focus on Demand not Supply
I am tired of seeing everyone complain about undercutting, and labeling people dupers/idiots... if they sell for less than X credits per resource. People play the game differently and can justify selling at different prices.
What we need to do as architects is focus on ways to spur demand. You never will be able to change individuals behaviors but we may be able to get the devs to listen to us and get some changes that will help the profession. Lots of threads have been started about fixing the money woes of archs, and I have said all these things before. Here are my thoughts on how to spur demand:
1. Give declared residences a healing bonus to the owner. Let wounds heal without a medic or entertainer. This only works in declared residence not any house.
2. Give us new structure stable/garage. Make it a requirement to have a stable or garage (could just be home ownership) before you can have a vehicle or player mount.
3. Give us combat structures. Take experimentation and turn it into combat structures.
4. Let people own1 vendor without having to have business 3. I think this really cuts down on housing demand.
