Thread: Anyone else enjoying this profession?
I just made nov architect and master artisan and I'm really excited about this class. It was fun to make my first house and first batch of furniture.I'm surprised at the complexity of some of the things we make but I'm looking forward to diving in and learning more. I've even had requests for an eq. factory and other things. I'm actually surprised that I'm having this much fun with a class that is all about crafting. When I purchased this game I thought combat was the only fun type of game play so this is a refreshing revelation. Perhaps my views will change over time but that's why I created this thread - to see if Architects are still enjoying their profession?
Once you get enough stock so you dont have to work to meet orders being master becomes much more fun. I have almost got 2 of everything and just replace the weekend rush over the week and whoopie do.
Ive got 3 or 4 others working with me to bring in resources and components and Ive begun another crafting tree as a sideline...so Im enjoying myself.
Other than the 3 crit fails in a row that makes me want to kill things (which is why I have a wookie alt).

Hey Wargfang I totally am with you on the creating an alt to destroy things and raise h*** when you crit fail on stuff 23 times in a row.
Kinda makes me wonder if all architects will fall to the dark side

Very busy...
...moved my workshop and factories closer to the Mall I sell from.
...just made new houses for the entire guild so we could move planet.
...general sales are going well... so keeping up is pretty hard work.
Looking for some form of decay to be added so that we can continue building and selling things in the longer term.
Architect numbers i believe have been thinning out a bit.. but like Dayln I think they will need to shrink a bit more befor we reach a stable number. Its hard to judge though, becasue I see an awfull lot of architects who realy dont make and sell very much... kindof part-timers.
but, before i hit master, i was enjoying Architect a lot. it was cool to beable to create a building. its the first MMO that i've ever played that allowed us to make more then the furniture. I'm going to stick with Architect till after Urban Planner goes in atleast. mainly to help my guild get our city structures. but after that, i don't know. kind of thinking of getting rid of all the skill points i put into this and going BH.
