Thread: im having problems
im a new architect
i am running out of money because i cannot build top of the line stuff and my harvesters are eating my funds i have left. what can a novice sell that people use? disregard that... what can i sell that people will use and go out of the way for?
i havent mastered artisan yet so the components for crafting stations are not available to me. do i really have to wait to master architect to make any sort of income?
thanks for any suggestions or info you can provide.
Try selling some furniture on the bazaar or on your vendors if you have them. This may not work well if you don't have a few boxes of furniture skill to make the nicer stuff.
Another option is to apprentice yourself to a master architect and sell him wall modules relatively cheap at around 8-9k or whatever you can negotiate. This will get you massive XP grinding out structure mods and wall mods by hand and will pay for your harvester maintenance plus a bit of profit. Well, not exactly profit as you could have sold the resources on the bazaar for the same or more than what you sold the finished wall modules to the master architect but it gets you XP while you convert your resources into product.
You could also slow down grinding XP and sell some or all of your harvested resources on the bazaar until you're in a comfortable cash position to continue burning up resources by crafting.
The other obvious option is to shut down your harvesters if you get low on cash and stop grinding XP. Just make stuff when you've got a profitable sale set up in advance. You'll eventually get to master and in the mean time you can do other stuff in the game.
Beyond that I really don't know what to suggest because it's not an easy crafter profession to make it big.
Personally, I'd suggest you get the names of 10-15 master architects and send them emails asking if they'd be willing to buy hand crafted wall modules and what price they'd like to buy at. Take the best offers and work with those folks...
