Hello all

I am a master architect on Tempest and this forum is the first I have heard of skill tapes. From what i can gather they increase the extraction rate of Harvesters. My first question is how do you obtain them are they loot or does somebody craft them also if loot what drops it? My second question is how do I craft a +30 crafting station? I am not a master artisan so do I have to buy the parts I need for the stations, and if it is in the materials, What is the important Qualities? I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter.

as far as i know skill tapes are for clothing and armor not for harvesters. they can enhance your skill i have 1 that gives me +1 to architect expermention thus i have +56 to it not +55 like all the rest of the master's (Not that it even really matters) since we have crappy expermention on many of our items anyway.


as for the High numbers are crafting station is based off the over all quality of the mineral used they may be more to it i have a guy on my server Ahiza that makes +43 stations he makes them better than i can but i choose not to spend the time making crafting stations i just bought mine from him, also you need to add all the xtra components I.E sensor suites,control units and even droid storage compartments these items must be very very good made with very good materials and also have very high effectiveness this all comes into play when making them

They are loot drops from various places. No set place to get one. I got one for medicine awhile back, which does me little good.

mine was a loot drop of a evil settler but they have removed them from game as far as i know i had someone offer 3 mil for mine i told them no



im rich as it is and as it is there is nothing to buy in this game thats worth while atleast for me a architect

locked containers.. got a +2 arch experimentation tape from it...

each 10 points in experimetation you have gives you an experimentation point.. masters get +55 struc experimentation that means 55/10 = 5 exp points... witha +5 tape it would be 60/10 = 6 experimentation points.. to get the 8/11/17 rates u need at least 6 exp points

With crafting stations you must make great components for them to get them high... When you make the components from the master artisan items that you need pay attention to what the efficiency depends on.. like on a microsensor suite its 33% cond and 66% OQ.. find something that fits in the metal/chem slots that has high cond/oq to make it better..

on the main station itself its 100% cond.. so find the HIGHEST condutivy metal possible to make the station with..

I use 996oq steel, 994 oq copper, 900 oq poly, 948 oq gas, 984 cond copper, 717cond/917oq alum (For the microsensor suite requiring both oq/cond).. and i get 41 stations...
