Thanks to a lot of hard work by the frequent contributers on this board, the footprints for every building (including the new PC buildings) have been measured and posted. One question I have though is what exactly is the measurement of a 1 x 1 square in game terms? I've seen 8m and I've seen 6m. Those of us who have been tapped to plan a city layout really do need this information to plot residences within the city radius.It would be nice if the devs would just come out and say it, and though I suppose they might well have done so somehwere, I can't seem to find it. Anyone have anything definitive on this issue?

Through my own experimentation with waypoints, as well as using the shift+cntrl+G data window I have come to the conclusion that a 1x1 grid square is equal to 8m in game. That's what I'm going with to determine Player City layouts and also corresponds with an 8bit graphical scheme. While I agree that the developers have this information and could easily release it, I am confident enough in my own testing to rely on the 8m reference that I have attained.

By measuring out many blocks to get the most accurate measurement, doing 1 block give you screwy results each time, I came out with 8m.
